If you haven't heard this story yet.. well.. my god what is wrong with this man.




LOUISVILLE - U.S. marshals are stepping up their efforts to track down a man who promised to help his ailing son but skipped town instead. Byron Perkins, 37, was in jail awaiting sentencing after a home invasion to which he pleaded guilty last year. Marshals said Perkins offered to donate a kidney to his son, but when a judge let him out of jail for some medical tests, he took off.

Marshals said they believe Perkins is traveling with his girlfriend, Lea Ann Howard

"Some family members say they were cruising the Internet for Mexico," U.S. Marshal Chuck Gilbert said. "Others say he'd be nearby because of the note he left for his mother and the son. We're just waiting to see, hoping the public will give us tips to lead to him."

Howard also is wanted for taking off after she pleaded guilty in a murder-for-hire plot, WLKY reported. Investigators said the couple last was seen driving in a 1994 bluish-green Ford Crown Victoria with Kentucky license plate 784-BHS.

Anyone with information on the couple is asked to contact police.



This jackass.. I was watching Anderson Cooper 360 and he covered the story.. the best though was when they came out of it to the mug shots and he said "if you have seen these....." then there was a long pause before he said "people"
like he just didn't want to give them that honor.. he just didn't know what to say.. then he said something like "these wonderful people"
How can a father do that ? I just don't understand.. His poor son.. I mean the guy is a criminal, so I am sure he has let his son down before.. but jeeeeez.
